The Best jQuery Lightbox WordPress Plugin I Ever Use

prettyPhoto jQuery Lightbox Plugin
JQuery Lightbox is not only beautiful, but it also adds value to the user experience and makes easy to navigate on your site. I’ve tried several jQuery Lightboxs on my sites and my client’s sites. Then, yesterday I found jQuery Lightbox WordPress Plugin that I think it’s the best and feature rich, it called WP-prettyphoto.
Btw, I try to switch to WP-prettyphoto because the jQuery Lightbox plugin that I use previously conflicts with other jQuery JavaScript Library. By using WP-prettyphoto there’s no more jQuery conflict. All of my jquery JavaScript Libraries are running well now.
prettyPhoto is a jQuery based lightbox clone, WP-prettyPhoto allows you to use prettyPhoto, a themeable jQuery-powered Lightbox clone with WordPress. Not only does it support images, it also add support for videos, flash, YouTube, iFrame. It’s a full blown media modal box. WP-prettyPhoto embeds those functionalities in WordPress.
You can see the script in action on my landing page here (Please navigate to the Free Templates section and click on the templates screenshot). On that page, I also use Organic Tabs which it also use jQuery. There’s no jQuery conflict, both WP-prettyphoto and Organic Tabs are running well. So WP-prettyphoto is the best jQuery Lightbox WordPress plugin I ever use, at least until now.

I usually use code like this to view the video in lightbox:
<a href=”http://movies.apple.com/movies/weinstein/nine/nine-tlr1_h.480.mov?width=480&height=204″ rel=”wp-prettyPhoto”>Flash Movie</a>
