For wide blogs, a vertical bar with popular sharing icons appears on the left of your post. If the page is resized below 1000px (default), the vertical bar disappears and a horizontal Sharebar appears under the post title.
Make the buttons show at the left side of the post or page, scroll down as the people read the post, Mashable.com scrolling effect cloned.
GetSocial adds a lightweight and intelligent floating social media sharing box on your blog posts.
This is my latest discovery, I think it’s the best now. I found other plugins are conflicting with jQuery, whereas cevhershare doesn’t conflict and works very well. Cevhershare is similar with Sharebar which you can add and edit the buttons, both big and small button.

Hi, I really like the plugin, but when I install it on my theme – it has these funny blue arrows on the side.

Thanks for these, find the digg digg particularly useful. Its interesting that you could use these to have some other content or images in also and get them to float. Something we’re working on doing soon!

I am using digg digg and it works fine on my freshlife theme. I have used some other plugins for floating vertical share button but none worked fine.
