Landing Pages Optimization to Increase Conversions Plus Landing Page Example
Beautiful and well-design landing page is not enough to increase conversions, there were several factors to make a landing page can attract visitors to buy or sign up to your offer. But indeed, a professional website design or landing page can increase conversion rates and sales, a professional website design ensures trust and credibility with your users. And your landing page will become more powerful and optimized if you can combine the professional website design and several factors below:
- Call to Action Buttons. Draw attention to where you want them to click. Anything that draws attention to a user is more likely to get clicked on. Tell people what you want them to do on your landing page, don’t just assume they’ll know automatically.
- Minimal Navigation – Don’t let them get distracted. Remove the top, left or right hand navigation from your landing pages.
- Keep the Good Stuff Above the Fold. If visitors enter your landing page and don’t see what they need to do within the first 5 seconds, they’re likely to bail. So your important stuff/ information better be visible quick.
- Scanable Copy. Forget that you are the expert? Use language your visitors can understand.
- Image Quality. Simply put, don’t use cheesy images. Few images to convey professionalism, dorky images don’t convey any professionalism whatsoever.
- Quick Load. Fast loading = High Quality Score. Google says so themselves! If it takes more than 10 seconds to fully load your pages that’s way to long. It should take less than 5 seconds.
- Use Dynamic Headlines. Track how they got to your site and then use those keywords. If the page headline is more targeted to what the user typed in the search, they’re much more likely to continue reading and complete an action.
- Use the Keywords in Your Copy. This is part of the SEO starter kit, but it applies to PPC as well. Keywords in copy = High Quality Score.
- Short Form. You should be able to see the ‘submit’ button above the fold. Look at your current forms and only require the information you truly need. If someone sees a very long form, they may think, ‘This is going to take too long to fill out’ and could possibly skip that process altogether.
- No Clutter. Remove any extra copy that isn’t necessarily useful to the user. Remove any unnecessary images or icons.
- Privacy Policy, Contact From, and or Terms page. Put Privacy Policy, Contact Form, and or Terms page at the bottom of landing page. This will make your site more trustable and credible, Google love it.
Well, a good quality landing is not only can increase conversion rate, but also can improve Google Adwords Quality Score which it can increase your ad position and reduce your ad cost/bid.
