Well, here we go. To start affiliate marketing you need to do some basic actions such as:

1. Create (minimum one) self-hosted domain website or blog.
2. Build your website or blog by adding more content and drive traffic to your site.
3. Sign-up for affiliate networks / programs

1. Create a Blog or Website

Almost of affiliate networks require you having minimum one self-hosted website or blog, they do not accept free hosting website, like blogspot, wordpress.com, etc. You have to own your own domain name.

Although you are expert in affiliate marketing and you’re making money without any websites or blogs, but you need to have websites to expand your business. Just like my friend, he makes money online without website. But then, when he wants to expand his business to another niches he get barrier because he does not have any websites.

So if you’re serious to build your business you need to have websites or blogs.

2. Build up Your Website and Drive Traffic

Now you have your own hosted domain name. I described clearly, that you need to build up your website and drive traffic to it. Website without content and traffic is a dead website.

So build your English language website or blog by adding more content and drive traffic to your site.

3. Sign-up for Affiliate Networks / Programs

Now you already have websites or blogs with decent traffic, so you can signup to the affiliate network. It’s easy to sign-up to Affiliate Programs but not easy to get approved if you don’t know the right way.

Well, here the tips to get approved by Affiliate Networks:

• Use your own domain as email address. Do not use free email service like yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc.
• Describe your website information and your marketing method completely. There’s usually comment box at the bottom of the sign-up form, you can use it to describe more detail about your marketing method. Here an example: “I promote CPA offers using blog posts & reviews, text link & banner placement, and PPC search marketing”
• Go ahead to make a phone call after you sign-up. Or you can wait to get a phone call. Please refer to the next page (after your sign-up) how you can communicate with them.
